This is a personal website. I don’t sell anything, I don’t use cookies, and I don’t collect more about you than the site needs to work. Here’s what happens to your data when you visit.
Who runs this site
The data controller is František Kříž, a private individual. You can reach me at [email protected].
Cookies and browser storage
The site doesn’t use any cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner.
The only thing it stores in your browser (localStorage) is a note that you unlocked the “What I’m watching” section, so it stays unlocked next time. You can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Running the site and security
As with any website, each visit processes your IP address, the time of the request, the page you visited and browser details. This is needed to deliver the page to you and to protect the site from attacks (legitimate interest). These records are kept only as long as needed for operation and security.
The site runs through the Cloudflare network, which speeds it up and protects it. Cloudflare is a US company participating in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor statistics
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, doesn’t track you across websites and only shows me aggregate numbers – how many people came, which pages they viewed, from which country and how fast the site loads. I can’t identify any individual visitor.
Content from other services
The site shows what I’m listening to, playing and watching, plus my record collection. My server fetches the data itself, but images (record and game covers, posters) load in your browser directly from these services’ servers, which therefore see your IP address:
- Spotify – track and album covers
- Discogs – record covers from my collection
- Steam (Valve) – game and profile images
- Simkl – movie and TV posters (via the wsrv.nl image proxy)
- GitHub – profile picture
Links to these services (and to my profiles) take you off this site – what happens there is governed by their own policies.
This application uses Discogs’ API but is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. ‘Discogs’ is a trademark of Zink Media, LLC.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data I process about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to object. Just send me an email.
If you believe I’m mishandling your data, you can contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the data protection authority in your country.
